About CTW Events
What is CTW Events?
CTW Events designs and runs corporate volunteer experiences that turn teams into a force for global impact. As part of Clean the World Global, we specialize in fully managed, fully measurable team activations that mobilize employees to make a real difference in communities around the world.
What does CTW stand for?
CTW stands for Clean the World. CTW Events is the corporate engagement arm of Clean the World Global, the organization our founder Shawn Seipler started in 2009 to recycle discarded hotel soap and plastic amenities into new products for communities in need.
What is Clean the World Global's relationship to CTW Events?
CTW Events is the corporate engagement arm of Clean the World Global, the organization that pioneered soap recycling and hygiene kit distribution in 2009. Clean the World collects and recycles discarded hotel soap into new bars, and CTW Events brings companies into that mission through hands-on volunteer experiences.
Planning Your Event
What countries does CTW Events support?
United States, Canada, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore, Macau, Taiwan, Vietnam, Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, Austria, France, Germany, Portugal, Spain, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Lithuania, Norway, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Sweden, Croatia, Finland, Greece, Iceland, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom. If the country you are looking to host your event within is not listed, please reach out and we can verify feasibility.
What types of experiences do you offer?
CTW Events builds every experience around four purpose pillars: hygiene & health, education & opportunity, food security, disaster relief, and the option to customize any pillar or design something entirely your own. Each pillar addresses a specific community need, and each one gives your team a tangible way to contribute, from assembling hygiene kits to packing school supplies and responding to global emergencies. Explore our signature experiences to see how each pillar comes to life, or contact us to build a custom activation around your company’s mission.
Can we build a custom experience?
How much does a CTW Events experience cost?
Pricing depends on group size, experience type, location, and any custom elements added to the event. Every experience is quoted individually so companies get exactly what they need without paying for what they don’t. Contact us for a personalized quote.
How far in advance should we book?
We recommend booking at least 6 to 8 weeks out for standard events, and 3 to 4 months for larger activations tied to conferences, offsites, or international travel. Tighter timelines are possible, and our team has turned around meaningful experiences in as little as 2 weeks when a date matters.
How long does a CTW Events experience take?
Most experiences run 60 to 90 minutes of active assembly time, plus a short opening and closing program. Larger groups or custom formats can extend to a half-day. Our team builds the timeline around your agenda.
What team sizes can you accommodate?
Everything from intimate teams of 5 to conference-scale activations of 5,000+ or more. Our production model is built to scale without losing the quality of the experience.
Can you host in-person, virtual, or hybrid events?
Yes. In-person events are our specialty, and we also run virtual and hybrid experiences for distributed teams. Virtual events ship kits directly to employees so everyone builds together over video, no matter where they are.
What venues do you work with, and do you travel to us?
CTW Events travels to you. Our team runs experiences at corporate offices, conference centers, hotels, offsite venues, and just about anywhere with enough space for assembly tables. If a venue has questions about setup or logistics, our production team coordinates with them directly.
What is included in a CTW Events package?
Every package includes event planning, material prep, and shipping straight to your site. You’ll get clear instructions for running the event, either in person from our team or sent ahead of time so your team can self-manage. From there, it’s up to you. We can staff the event ourselves, or step back and let your team run it, based on what your timing and budget support. If you need help getting completed kits to a charity partner, we’ll coordinate that too. Specific inclusions vary by experience type, group size, and location.
Can we customize the experience with our branding?
Yes. CTW Events offers branded kit components, custom signage, co-branded impact materials, executive speaking moments, and tailored programming that ties the experience to your company’s mission or campaign. Custom builds are quoted based on scope.
Impact and Reporting
Who are your charity and distribution partners?
Every kit goes to a charitable partner supporting communities in need, whether that’s disaster relief, homelessness services, education programs, or global health initiatives. If your company has a preferred charity, kits can be routed there. If not, distribution runs through our established partner network.
What happens to the kits after the event?
CTW Events works with a network of trusted global partners including Save the Children, Good360, MAP International, The WASH Foundation, CARE, and Children International, among others. If your company has a charity partner you’d like the kits to support, we’re happy to route them there instead, whichever direction creates the most meaningful impact for your team.
How does a CTW Events experience support our CSR or ESG goals?
Corporate volunteer events are one of the most measurable and story-ready ways to demonstrate social impact. CTW Events experiences generate concrete metrics, kits assembled, communities served, volunteer hours, that plug directly into CSR reports, ESG disclosures, sustainability updates, and employee engagement dashboards.
For Event Planners and Sales Teams
Can CTW Events be part of a company offsite, retreat, or conference?
Yes, this is one of our most popular formats. CTW Events regularly produces activations at annual sales kickoffs, leadership retreats, industry conferences, and multi-day offsites, where the experience often becomes the heart-and-purpose moment on the agenda.
Do you work with event planners, DMCs, and hotel groups?
Yes. CTW Events partners with event planners, destination management companies, hotels, and conference organizers around the world. If you’re building an agenda for a client and want to add a meaningful give-back moment, get in touch. We have partner-friendly workflows and pricing.
What are the benefits of hosting a corporate volunteer event?
Beyond the direct community impact, corporate volunteer events strengthen team culture, boost morale, deepen employee engagement, and give companies a tangible story to tell externally. They also consistently rank among the highest-rated experiences on employee engagement surveys.
