From September 15–18, 2025, Vienna welcomed the Microsoft Fabric Community Conference, gathering innovators, technologists, and changemakers from around the globe. This year, CTW Events proudly stepped onto the Inspire Stage with a powerful message: events can and should be a force for good.
Tommie Eaton on Purpose-Driven Team Building
Tommie Eaton, CTW Events’ Ambassador and Global Circularity Advocate, delivered the session “Building Impact: How Events Become a Force for Good.” Drawing from years of experience leading global give-back programs, Tommie explored how purposeful team-building addresses today’s workplace challenges—from declining engagement to shifting employee priorities.
Key insights from the presentation included:
- The business case for purpose: Purpose-driven events aren’t just about morale; they drive measurable long-term results in productivity, retention, and brand reputation.
- A changing workforce: With 74% of Gen Z and Millennials valuing balance and purpose over pay, engagement strategies must evolve.
- Well-being and impact: Poor mental health costs employers billions annually, yet authentic connection and community action foster belonging, resilience, and fulfillment.
- The ESG re-volution: Moving beyond environmental focus, the “S” in ESG—social impact—is increasingly central to how organizations engage people.
From Inspiration to Action: FabCon’s Kit Build for Caritas
Theory met practice as attendees took part in a hands-on hygiene kit build hosted by CTW Events. Together, participants assembled 1,800 kits, distributed by Caritas Austria to families experiencing poverty and hardship.

From supporting communities affected by war and natural disasters, CTW Events is showing that when attendees and employees come together for good, the impact extends far beyond the office. This local activation highlighted CTW Events global ripple effect, with 7.2 million kits delivered, 272,000+ participation hours, and 1,000+ nonprofit partnerships worldwide, the impact is ever expanding.
