Introduction

CTW Events specialised in purpose-driven team-building experiences that combined corporate engagement with measurable social impact. Through hygiene-kit builds, school-supply packs and comfort-kit projects, CTW Events helped organisations strengthen culture and advance their ESG goals while supporting vulnerable communities.

In 2025 CTW Events expanded its footprint, introduced new programmes and earned industry recognition. This wrap-up follows our milestones in chronological order.

ACI Charity Duck Race, Orlando (26 February 2025)

CTW Events kicked off the year by hosting a “kit-building sprint” at the 13th annual ACI Charity Duck Race at JW Marriott Orlando Grande Lakes. Teams assembled 2 500 hygiene kits in just 15 minutes, donated to The WASH Foundation for wildfire relief (read more).

The race itself — featuring over 50 decorated ducks — raised US$50 000, a 25% increase from 2024.

International Confex 2025 (24 March 2025)

At International Confex in London, CTW Events Vice President Madison Ayache delivered a session on Innovation in Team Building & the Power of Purpose. She noted that 74 % of employees found fulfilment in jobs offering social or environmental impact (read more).

Poor morale came at a cost — unresolved depression could reduce productivity by 35 %, costing a 25-person team around £32 500 per year. In contrast, engaged workers were 21 % more productive with 41 % lower absenteeism.

Ayache highlighted diverse purpose-driven team-building formats and shared case studies, including a KPMG scavenger hunt + kit build, and Amazon employees packing 100 000 kits for people affected by the Ukraine war.

Year of the Return on Relationships (ROR) (16 April 2025)

CTW Events embraced Return on Relationships (ROR) as a key metric for event ROI. Research showed that 77 % of people trusted brands more after face-to-face interactions (read more).

CTW Events’ remote and onsite kit builds engaged 301 000 volunteers and produced six million kits across more than 1 000 charities.

Examples included Volvo and Save the Children’s Amsterdam event, where participants assembled 2 100 school backpacks for children in Romania.

IMEX Frankfurt – Global Impact, Local Volunteerism (6 June 2025)

CTW Events introduced a hands-on hygiene-kit build at IMEX Frankfurt, enabling delegates to volunteer during breaks. Attendees assembled 600 kits, including bamboo toothbrushes, dental tablets, shower gel and shampoo. Kits were donated to Bahnhofsmission Frankfurt, supporting people in need (read more).

CTW Events reminded participants that “the most important part of the set is YOU”.

Royal Horseguards Hotel Kit Build (1 July 2025)

During a one-day “bleisure” FAM trip organised by Custard Communications, CTW Events hosted a 45-minute kit-building activation at London’s Royal Horseguards Hotel (read more).

Hospitality and media professionals, including PA Life, The Hotel Magazine, and Boutique Hotelier, assembled 200 hygiene kits for Little Village, supporting families with children under five.

Austin Eaton, CTW Events Europe & UK Head of Marketing, said the day demonstrated how shared purpose creates uplifting energy and impact.

Summer Engagement Report 2025 (28 July 2025)

CTW Events published its annual report on summer engagement and employee wellbeing. Gallup data showed U.S. engagement had risen slightly to 32 %, yet 85 % of employees globally still reported feeling disengaged (read more).

Flexible work policies — such as four-day weeks and meeting-free Fridays — could boost productivity by 14 %. Meanwhile, 69 % of remote employees experienced burnout, with many reporting reduced collaboration.

Engaged employees contributed to a 23 % increase in profitability and 87 % higher retention.

CTW Events highlighted its scalable impact: 7.1 million kits distributed, 1 000+ charity partners, and 266 405 hours of team-building.

Case Study: IMEX Frankfurt 2025 Hygiene Kit Build (1 September 2025)

A full case study explored how IMEX Frankfurt (20–22 May 2025) embedded a hygiene-kit build into its event programme (read more).

Across three days, 13 000+ attendees took part, assembling 600 kits for Bahnhofsmission Frankfurt.

The activation aligned with IMEX’s sustainability commitments. Senior Operations & Sustainability Executive Roger Lehner noted the kit build enhanced attendee experience and offered a template planners could replicate.

CTW Events highlighted that allowing participants to “drop in” between meetings created powerful tools for change.

CTW Events Heads to IMEX America 2025 (30 September 2025)

Following its Frankfurt success, CTW Events announced its participation at IMEX America in Las Vegas (7–9 October). IMEX America attracted 5 700+ decision-makers, 3 500+ suppliers and 17 000 attendees (read more).

CTW Events showcased scalable activations, hygiene kits, school-supply packs and food-donation stations,  encouraging planners to embed CSR into meetings and incentives.

The announcement reiterated CTW Events’ reach: 7.3 million kits, 1 000+ charity partners, 301 000 volunteers and 225 000 volunteer hours, highlighting the scalability for organisations seeking to align sustainability and social impact goals.

Confex Event Supplier Awards Recognition (2 October 2025)

CTW Events was shortlisted for two categories at the International Confex Event Supplier Awards — Supplier ESG Award and Event Industry Contribution Award (read more).

The organisation received Highly Commended recognition in the Event Industry Contribution category.

CTW Events noted that this spotlight reflected a growing industry shift toward purpose-driven, ESG-aligned events.

FabCon Vienna – Inspire Stage (8 October 2025)

At Microsoft’s Fabric Community Conference (FabCon Vienna), CTW Events Ambassador Tommie Eaton delivered Building Impact: How Events Become a Force for Good (read more).

He explained that purpose-driven events elevate morale, retention and brand reputation. With 74 % of Gen Z and Millennials valuing balance and purpose over pay, engagement strategies needed to evolve.

Delegates then assembled 1 800 hygiene kits for local charity Caritas Austria.

ACCP Annual Conference (17 October 2025)

CTW Events joined CSR and ESG leaders at the ACCP Annual Conference in Atlanta. The event drew 250+ CSR professionals and 2 000+ representatives across 20+ sectors (read more).

CTW Events demonstrated how purpose-driven activations support CSR strategies and employee-engagement outcomes.

EN Indy Expo 2025 – People, Purpose & AI (29 October 2025)

At the Exhibition News Indy Expo in London, CTW Events’ Head of Marketing Austin Eaton joined organisers to discuss marketing innovation and sustainability (read more).

The expo showcased four themed theatres,  C-Suite, Revenue Hub, AI & Data Hub and Community Hub.

A key takeaway was that despite the proliferation of AI, human connection remained the heart of events. As Duncan Reid (Reset Connect CEO) stated, AI may move quickly, but “the magic lies in meeting people”.

Another panel highlighted that some trade shows had achieved 60 % reductions in waste to landfill through reusable materials and impact measurement.

CTW Events echoed the people-first message and reaffirmed its impact record.

Engaging Remote Teams (4 November 2025)

CTW Events published guidance on strengthening culture in distributed teams (read more). Research showed:

  • 41 % of remote employees struggled to feel integrated. • Remote environments often hindered collaboration. • 26 % of U.S. workers in remote-capable roles were fully remote.

CTW Events argued that intentional, purpose-driven activations are essential. Effective events should:

– incorporate social impact, – be customisable and scalable, – support hybrid participation, – be simple to deliver, – reinforce culture and values.

The organisation highlighted its virtual and in-person presence across Europe, scalable models like the 1 800-kit build at Caritas Vienna, and turnkey logistics services.

Conclusion

Across 2025 CTW Events proved that events can be powerful catalysts for social good. The organisation demonstrated that purpose and profit are not mutually exclusive.

Research presented at Confex showed employees crave meaningful work and that engagement improves productivity. CTW Events responded with experiences that uplift communities, strengthen team cohesion, and enhance brand reputation.

As the events landscape continues to evolve — shaped by AI, hybrid work models and ESG reporting — CTW Events remains committed to delivering scalable, measurable, purpose-driven solutions that create Return on Relationships, not just return on investment.

Our 2025 milestones showed how purposeful experiences create ripple effects:

building kits becomes building community, and building community becomes building a better world.
